SacroFix® provides a solution to PGP (Pelvic Girdle Pain) by applying a uniquely directed external compression to the pelvis to improve the joint stability, with research showing that targeted compression is key to optimal stability and pain relief.

Allowing the anterior (front) and posterior (back) components of the pelvic compression belt to be angled for optimal fit and comfort. Especially important when used for Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) during pregnancy.
These features uniquely allow SacroFix® to provide a general supportive compression to the whole of the pelvic girdle whilst producing a stable and specifically targeted compression to either the Sacroiliac joints or the Symphysis pubis.

Care Instructions
The SacroFix® brace is designed to be worn over the top of underwear helping to keep it clean. SacroFix® can be washed daily, although less frequent washing will help to extend the life of the product. SacroFix® is machine washable to 40°C (100°F). Tumble dry on low. Do not Iron.

Medical Details
Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) can affect different groups of the general population; in particular pregnant women, low back pain sufferers and sportsmen/women. PGP can be the result of trauma and considered to be the main source of pain in up to 30% of low back pain sufferers, and up to 50% of pregnant women.
The pelvic girdle consists of three joints: two ‘Sacroiliac Joints’ at the back and the ‘Symphysis Pubis’ at the front. Any of these three joints can cause Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP).
Indications SacroFix®
Can be used for the treatment of the following conditions:
- SI joint syndrome
- Symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD)
- SI joint dysfunction
- Pelvic girdle instability
- SI joint instability
- Pelvic tendonopathy and myalgia
- SI joint blockage
May be used on its own or as part of a treatment program including medication and/ or exercises.
